History & Biography Turns out Germans love caskets and this one played death metal and was down with it in Baden-Württemberg beginning in 1990. 'ne Vollkanne was the first demo and issued in 1992. Demo 1993, 1994's Endtime and 1996's Meant To Be Dead followed. Whatever was meant was ignored and another demo, this one called Under The Surface, followed in 1998.
Promo 2002 had two songs, both of which appeared on 2008's Upright Decay. Guitarist Gleibs had left in 2007 and would end up in a coffin in 2024. Amazingly, the band's line-up had been and remained stable otherwise. The band and Serbia-based NadimaC toured Serbia in early 2016 and the frontman for that band illustrated the cover artwork for Unearthed next. The band also appeared at the Metal Madness show in Sušice, Czech Republic in 2016. Urn was a 2021 EP through Neckbreaker Records. Germany-based Casket will release a new full-length, called In The Long Run We Are All Dead through Neckbreaker Records on 23.01.2026. A cassette version was to be released through Slime Inhaler Records. The band had an album release gig with Muggeseggel, Unrast and Hereza.
