History & Biography
The band was founded in 2019 and placed a special emphasis on its image, theatrics and show. These were conceived by frontwoman Pinkerton. Drummer Sarge left in 2020. An album emerged in 2024 following multiple uploads.The Rat Reaperess (Madeline Wright) showed some cellulite free skin and added a stage performance for gigs (shades of S.A.D.O. here). Actually, the band fights against Rat Reaperess, who was death incarnate, in the realm. Guitarist The Count left in 2024. His replacement was… The Count. 2025 began with The Realm's Heroes Tour of the USA.

Theatrical doom metal act Castle Rat had a new album, called The Bestiary, through King Volume Records (in North America) and Blues Funeral Recordings (in Europe), which was slated for September 2025. The band was touring Europe, including a stop at Mystic Fest, and then Canada and the USA. The band filmed a video for the song Wizard.
