History & Biography
This act was founded in 2010 with a different singer. Vinland was a 2011 demo. Fireborn was a 2014 demo that featured a phoenix on its cover. George War Bush and Putin disagreed with the band’s debut album. Nonetheless it appeared in 2017. The band played an album release concert locally in November 2017. Drummer Jason Williams of Sheavy came and went.

Newfoundland, Canada-based Category VI had an album called Firecry through Moribund Records. The band featured a female singer and celebrated International Women's Day by uploading a song called Valkyries in March 2023. There was a video for the song The Coven. Drummer Patrick Tarrant was a returnee in 2025. Matt Verstege had drummed for the previous two years. Simultaneously, Patrick Tarrant reported his drum kit was stolen.

The band was working on a new album in 2025.
