History & Biography
Celestial Scourge signed to Time To Kill Records for the release of its debut EP Dimensions Unfurled in 2022. Celestial Scourge was a death metal band from Norway founded by Stian Gundersen during the pandemic in 2021. The band features members from Blood Red Throne, Deception, Ruun and Arvas. The line-up was Eirik Waadeland – vocals, Hans Jakob Bjørheim and Sindre Wathne Johnsen – guitars, Stian Gundersen – bass and drummer Kristoffer Lunden. The EP’s recording line-up was Eirik Waadeland, Stian Gundersen, Kristoffer Lunden and Sanjay Kumar on session guitars.

“Norwegian cosmic brutal tech-death metal” band Celestial Scourge released its debut full-length album, Observers Of The Inevitable, through Time To Kill Records in early 2025. The band was booked for the Dortmund Deathfest in 2026. Celestial Scourge issued a second full-length album, Exomia, through Time To Kill Records in late 2026. The band continued the science-fiction inspired concept. The album featured additional vocals on the song Spherical Aberrations by Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg.

The band’s monicker is inspired by the World Vs. World game.
