History & Biography
The band moved from Nepal to multiple locations in the USA and dubbed itself immigrindcore. The band was established in 2016. Lathi Charge was the 2016 EP. The act was invited to Maryland Deathfest XV in 2017. The band was booked for Earslaughter Festival and Obscene Extreme Festival both in 2018. Live @ Rock & Roll Gas Station was a demo in 2020. USA-based grindcore act Chepang signed a deal with Relapse Records for the release of its next record. Jhyappa was released on May 23rd.

Chepang refers to an ethnic group in Central Asia. The band has operated without a bassist, but with two drummers and singers.
