History & Biography
The Melbourne-based band was founded in 1989. With a tape called Prod, Australia's Christbait released its first demo in 1991. The group opened for Morbid Angel locally. The Yeast EP followed the year after and the band had a release show with Denial opening. The band appeared on increasingly less extreme split 7", album and compilations, but split up in the mid-1990s.
