History & Biography
Chronic Hate is a death metal band that was founded in 2001. The Hate Line demo arrived in 2004. The band was composed of singer Gianluca, guitarists Daniele and Giulio, bassist Marco S and drummer Marco C. Hate Live was the 2005 demo, which was recorded at a show called Rock In The Park Festival in Italy. A self-titled demo came in 2007. Next up was Promo 2010. Singer Dan died in 2011. In that year, the band gave a concert, which also featured former members. It was the group's tenth anniversary.

A short-lived label called To React Records (it would be Time To Kill later) signed the band and issued the debut album Dawn Of Fury: Face The Decline By The Hands Of Humanity in 2012. Walter was on vocals. Nicola was on second guitar. The band had toured Europe in advance of the album in 2011. The album itself was supported through a return to Poland in late 2012. The group appeared at Metaldays Festival 2015 in Slovenia. It was six years from the previous record before another album emerged. The Worst Form Of Life. Daniele was the sole guitarist and Andrea Mezzarobba (who had joined in 2014) was on the microphone. There were videos for the songs Parasites and Contaminations (seems the band likes to sing of and about conservatives). Second guitarist Massimo Andretta was acting as help during concerts. Reflection On Ruin was the 2021 demo and arrived on the band's twentieth anniversary. It featured a cover version of Dismember. Argentinian drummer and professional band hopper Nicolàs Petri joined on drums in 2023 replacing another band hopper, Andrea Pro (Corpsefucking Art, Nexus Opera, Infernal Angels, Enforces, Phenium, Murder Spree, Sudden Death, Exhume To Consume, etc.).

Time To Kill Records signed Italy-based death metallers Chronic Hate, which released the Defeating The Oblivion Of Life album through the label in 2026. The band touted its use of acoustic drums and real amplifiers.
