History & Biography
The doom band was founded in 2018 and issued a demo entitled Subterranean Awakening in 2019. Bassist Mikko Kääriäinen departed. Then drummer Riku Perhoniemi departed too. A debut record arrived late in 2022. Finland-based doom metal band Ciminero signed a contract with Italian label Argonauta Records in 2026. The band was working on a studio album that year. The band had a gig with Bell Of Mimir and Slug Lord.

The band's monicker is a portmanteau of the Italian words 'cimitero' ('cemetery') and 'nero' ('black').
