History & Biography
This Finnish band announced itself against the new wave of 'black metal' bands with commercial aims, promo campaigns, publicity shots and melody and came out all guns blazing. The band was influenced by Bathory, Darkthrone and Beherit and was anti-religion and anti-Zionist. The band's message, for example, was Eliminate Zionist Cancer - Destroy Israel. A self-titled demo was released in the spring of 1999 featuring five songs. The band had a 7" out there called On The Mission, which was pressed at a limited number of 200 copies.

Clandestine Blaze was true to its name: no names or photos were ever given on the albums - not even pseudonyms. Nonetheless, Mikko Aspa revealed himself as the man behind the project. He also ran Northern Heritage, which is sometimes associated with Nazi bands.

The new century began with multiple demos. The band's Deliverers Of Faith six-song CD was issued through Northern Heritage Records in 2004. A series of ‘Archive’ releases compiled the band’s odds and ends. Several live members have climbed the stage for concerts only.
