History & Biography A Germany-based "post black metal" group that was founded in December of 2012, Convictive released its inaugural demo, Blutnacht, in the summer of 2015. Female singer Jalina had joined in 2014 replacing Sebastian. The first singer had come up with the group's monicker. A follow-up was named Öffnung and appeared in late 2016.
2018 was when the debut album Schemen was issued. This was followed up with a 2024 demo, Rastlos. Only guitarist Philip and bassist Benjamin were left standing from the Schemen session. The singer here was a woman called Nova, who had actually replaced Jay (2018 to 2021). Convictive and Krähenfeld shared members, a rehearsal room and a split release in 2021. In the meantime, the band had appeared at Helmfest in 2023. Enisum and Asagraum announced the Veil Of Darkness co-headlining tour for the spring of 2026. Waldgeflüster and Convictive were to open. The act was also booked for Ragnarök Festival 2026.
