History & Biography
Course Of Fate came together in 2003 and issued demos called Painting With Fire (2006) and Escaping From Reality (also in 2006). The 2007 demo, Course Of Fate, was the last release until 2013's Cognizance. This demo was reissued by ROAR ten years later. In the meantime, the line-up was in flux.

ROAR/Rock Of Angels picked the band up and released Mindweaver in 2020. It was a concept album regarding the rise and fall of a cult leader. The band was managed by Intromental. Bassist Daniel Nygaard died due to a brain tumor in 2023. Guitarist Fredrik Jacobsen joined in 2024. Norway-based progressive metal fan Course Of Fate had a music video for the song Acolyte, which was taken from the Behind The Eclipse album in 2026. The video was directed by the band's vocalist Eivind Gunnesen.
