History & Biography The band was founded in 1991 and lasted until 1997. The very early bassist was Marja Koelewijn. The early drummer was Gerrit Koekebakker (ex-Mortmain and later in Downriver Dead Men Go). The two were dating. They were turfed because the band wanted to become more technical. Anthems For A Doomed Youth, featuring the two, was the band's first sign of life. The demo was issued in 1992 and garnered the band a deal with Mascot Records.
Issued in October of 1993, Shadows was produced by Patrick Mameli formerly of Pestilence. This caused many raised eyebrows in the metal scene as Mameli had earlier stated his distaste for metal. Joost Van Der Graaf would end up in Pestilence years later. The band began writing a third album, but being sick of it all Andy Judd would quit the act. Soon, Frank Brama injured his leg and the band was up.
Creepmime played heavy/doom/death metal and had gigs with the likes of Enthroned, Death, Cynic, Asphyx and Ancient Rites.
