History & Biography
Formed in Trieste, Italy in 2012, Damned Pilots recorded a debut demo called Spaced Out, which included a couple of cover versions, and released it through Radioactive Records. The sound mixed heavy metal with stoner and pop music. The band had a video clip for the song Make My Day. The Spaced Out Tour of 2013, the Beating The Odds Tour of 2013 and the Ride The Sky Tour of 2014 followed. The last one took the band to Eastern Europe as well. When the drummer became Mentors' live drummer, Damned Pilots became the opening act as well. One More Mission, through Planet K Records, followed and the band toured the USofA. The second full-length was called Overgalaxy and issued in 2015. Bill Metoyer mixed it. The group had an album called Overgalaxy through Sliptrick Records in late 2016. Activities died down.
