History & Biography
The Dark Empire was headquartered out of New York as of 2004 and had a demo called Northern Sky in 2006. The group belonged to Mr. Matt Moliti. Bassist Noah Martin of Arsis was part of the ensemble. The band parted ways with singer Jens Carlsson in late 2008/early 2009. The singer’s base of Sweden made touring and rehearsing difficult.

Urban Breed (Bloodbound, Tad Morose, etc.) joined in 2010. Urban replaced Jens Carlsson (Persuader and Savage Circus) who had left in 2008. Dark Empire's From Refuge To Ruin was due that year.
