History & Biography
Sharing the name with the European band with the same monicker, Darkmoon was born in 1997 following a split between the members of Demonic Christ and band-leader Duffey. The black metal act signed to Music For Nations and released a debut album. Apparently, the label had seen the band play at the Milwaukee Metalfest. An independent mini-album called .308 Antichrist appeared in late 2001. The name was changed to Wehrwolfe and that band lasted even shorter than Darkmoon.
