History & Biography Around the same time as the German Dawn Of Dreams, which came first, the Austria-based goth act issued a demo called Visions In The Twilight in late 1995. The band had been a grindcore act called Stable Stench before losing its drummer and moving away from the extremity. Candlelight Records signed the band and issued the delayed debut full-length Amber in 1997. It was recorded with a drum machine and contained several demo tracks.
Markus Ender left at the beginning of 1998. Musical differences was the reason. Candlelight and the band parted ways and there was an EP, called Songs Of Love And Pain, in 2000. A Turkish label signed the band and Eidolon was released in 2001. The band was a duo of Jan and Ralph Ammann here. Drummer Robert Baum (Undish) played session drums. Producer Piotr Witkowski had also worked with Undish. The band climbed the stage at a small show called Metal-Festival in Austria at this juncture. A bassist called Bruno Bassi was in and out. A guitarist called Alrun Lunger joined, but, despite having written music for another album called Out Of The Moment, the act bit the dust in 2002. Tristwood was an industrial act.

Oh, these guys are sooo sensitive. Are they not romantic? It must be the daily pressures of life that drives a man to such emotions Oohh, I am cryin'! What is this??? The package that this came in was originally addressed to someone called Sandi Maver of a magazine called Rock Vibe in Slovenia and I think it should have just gone there. Although, if Sandi really is into rock (i.e. Springsteen, Genesis, etc.) this would be even too soft for him/her. Imagine the same sleep-inducing melody going on and on forever. Some of this repetitious goth ('death/doom' to the scenesters) sounds like it was composed on a $19.99 bargain Casio keyboard. I think I'll now go shed a tear for all the injustices of romance.
