History & Biography
The band was first heard when it uploaded a song called Sorrow’s Eclipse in 2019, which was a year after the act’s official formation by Thomas and Murphy. The song appeared on the debut full-length The Art Of Morphology as well. A mini-tour supporting Vintersea in the USA occurred in September 2021. Ian Baker was added here. Another tour was with label-mates Tómarúm in the summer of 2022. The band switched to a new label for its second record. Fallujah, Vulvodynia, Persefone and the band were touring in 2024. Dawn Of Ouroboros had a music video for the title track of the band's Bioluminescence album. That effort was released on March 7th 2025. Canada-based Anciients returned to the USA for its first tour in eight years. The Quest Beyond Our Minds tour was booked for August and September 2025 and was to feature support from Dawn Of Ouroboros, Armed For Apocalypse Nott and Exist.

Based on ancient Egyptian mythology, an Ouroboros is a snake eating its own tail.
