History & Biography Spiders have some of the best vision and set of eyes in the entire range of species. This strangely titled band’s monicker makes sense perhaps only considering that founder Louis Sesto was previously in ‘Blindman.’
Dead Eyed Spider was founded after Sesto’s departure from Blindman by him, guitarist Sekine and bassist Aoshima in Yokohama, just south of Tokyo, in 2003. The drummer would play on the band’s debut demo (Looking At You… in 2005) and full-length debut only. Triumph, incidentally, was Blindman’s record company as well. Shows across Japan ensued. Sesto would years later be in a covers’ band called Tokyo Rock Blaster playing songs from a variety of hard rock and metal acts with Kan of Naked Machine. Drummer Aoki arrived in 2011. The second album arrived eight years later and was issued by Superseeing (there is that ‘sight’ connection again). The band issued its own self-titled DVD in 2016. The band, Alice In Hell and others was part of the Rock Of Ages show in Tokyo in 2016. The group appeared at Let It All Out with Mysterious, Blast Brain and others in 2018.
