History
The grindcore band was formed in 2008 and issued the Vold demo in 2009. The band signed with Southern Lord, which issued an EP for the band, called Fear, in 2011.
Georgia’s Dead In The Dirt completed work on The Blind Hole, the band’s debut full-length recording, in the summer of 2013 and would release it that summer through Southern Lord. The band had previously issued the Fear 7” through the label.
