History & Biography
The act was founded by Gebauer, who drummed for Earthrot in 2014, took a break in 2020 and returned in 2021. A 2015 demo was pressed by Winterwolf Records as well. The Promise Of Oblivion was written and recorded as a solo effort. The 2016 demo was called In Ecstatic Sorrow. 2018 delivered a demo called Live And Feral. Another demo was The Grand Disillusionment from 2019. The act toured Europe in 2019. The band also visited Japan alongside Marduk and Abigail Williams. The independent CD and DVD A Portrait Of Sacrificial Scars followed in 2020.

Australia-based Deadspace had a record called Unveiling The Palest Truth through Immortal Frost Productions on the 22nd of September 2023.

Members come and go like rice in a Chinese restaurant. Members vanish to re-emerge a year later replacing their replacement and job security in Deadspace is akin to brain cells in an anti-vaxxer. Even Gebauer hedges his bets by being in half a dozen acts simultaneously. He is often heard sharing musical projects with his wife, Anett Hauzu. Nonetheless, the act is industrious and releases music consistently. The band had a full-length demo called The Dark Enlightenment in late 2024.

The band mixes occult, metal and goth.
