History & Biography
The band was formed in 2002 and issued the Dark Breath demo in 2005 and Reborn in 2007. Florian switched to vocals from guitar. The 2011 Out Of Adversity demo was a full-length. France-based DeathAwaits’ Solve Coagula album was out through Sliptrick Records in mid-2017. The band played thrash/death metal. DeathAwaits was spending April 2018 touring with Karma Zero, Gohrgone and Slaughterers. Damien Riou left in 2018. Rapture Smites featured a trilogy called Trumpeting Butchery. XX was indeed released on the band's twentieth anniversary. The band uploaded a song called Hybrids in 2024. The band had late summer gigs booked in UK and France, but was searching for a drummer. Mathieu Martinazzo (Alta Rossa) had helped most recently. Drummer Lucas Delobelle, who had performed with the band opening for Exodus in 2018, was back on the stool later in 2024.
