History & Biography The act was founded in January 1987. Based out of Patra in Western Greece, Death Courier appeared on the Decapitated (zine) sampler in 1990. The band had a demo in 1989 called Deny Your Destiny, a 1991 demo called Necrogasm - which was a 7" a year earlier - and had an album release the year after. The act disbanded in 1993.
Predictably, the act returned in 2010. Singer Bill had a new line-up around him including drummer Stathis Kotsoris who stayed for five years. Immune To Burial - Rehearsal Sept 2010 was a demo. A first return concert was in Patra in May 2011. Former member Theo had a heart attack and died in 2012. Another demo, albeit with older tracks, was called Perimortem and arrived in 2013. Die Hard of 2016 was a live album of again older recordings. Necrotic Verses was a demo initially that Transcending Obscurity issued in mid-2020. Billy Soulas was singing and playing bass, George Petousis was guitar and Ilias Iliopoulos drummed.
Four Greek bands were to have a joint concert in early 2022, but COVID forced a cancellation. Acid Death, Death Courier, Piranha and Selefice tried again in May.
