History & Biography
The band was born from an idea by Demian De Saba and Samael Von Martin respectively drummer and guitarist/founder of black metal band Evol in 1995. The members wanted to combine folk rock into metal. Death Dies released a split CD with Satanel, entitled When Death Died, through Maggot Records and a 7" called The Art Of Domination in 1997 . Evol disbanded in 1999. Rex Tenebra of Evol had joined. The act became the opener for Impaled Nazarene, Behemoth and Prejudice.

Legione Patavina was a 2010 DVD. Death Dies came back with the album Legione, which featured older tracks and Evol cover versions. Time To Kill Records announced the signing of Italy-based black metallers Death Dies. The band issued Stregoneria in the Summer of 2023. Viktor Flamel had joined in 2022. The act was playing at the Padova Metal Fest in 2023.
