History & Biography Rottweiler Records signed USA-based thrash metal group Death Protocol and was aiming to release a first album, Demonic Onslaught, that summer. The white metal band was David Priest – vocals (who ran a Christian website) and guitarists David Estrada and Nicholas Pelamati. The first two were the founders.
The band declared itself, "Thrash Metal Band from Southern California whose ultimate purpose is to glorify God with everything that we are, lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Christ and encourage all believers to stand firm in their faith throughout these perilous times." The band had its hands full, given that their country was riddled by Donald Trump and his followers. A 2026 single called Illusion Of Faith featured singer David Priest, guitarists David Estrada and Nick Novak, bassist Reuben Albright and Sean Peck (Cage) and Luke Renno (Crimson Thorn) as guest singers.
