History Decayed Remains was formed in 1995 and had a demo (1996's Endless
Suffering) and two albums (1997's Moonlight and 2000's One Man's Fate)
to its name. Eric and Francis had been together in another band since
1992. The band's first vocalist was one Simon Paquet who also played in
Soulseasons.
The band played with Obliveon, Satyricon, King Diamond and
others which was a good way to describe its musical output. An EP was
recorded late in 2001.
The French Canadian act broke up in 2002. The members had different
ideas regarding the band's future musical directions. Masicotte and
Langlois concentrated on Thesyre.
