History & Biography
The atmospheric France-based group was established in 2006. The Inhibition album, which was the start of a trilogy about contemporary French neurobiologist Henri Laborit's work with mice to develop drugs, was released in 2012. Johannes shifted the emphasis to author Søren Kierkegaard. The album also introduced a full-time bassist. The act was booked for Royal Metal Fest 2019 and Roadburn Festival 2023.

France-based “philosophic post-black metallers” Decline Of The I had an album, entitled Wilhelm, through Agonia Records on 14.02.2025. The band had a music video for the song L’ Alliance Des Rats, featuring guest vocals from T.C. (Regarde Les Hommes Tomber) and Vestal (Merrimack). Recall how the first albums had dealt partly with a subject-matter involving experimenting with rats. The band’s main man A.K. was also in Merrimack.
