History & Biography
There are many Deimos’ running around the scene (and Deimos Dawn and Dream too), but this Romanian bunch was one of the earliest. The name belongs to an ancient Greek god of terror. This act was founded in 1994 and had a self-titled demo in 1995. The Insane album was released in 1997. The same label released the group’s next one on cassette again in 2001 and the band disappeared. In its time, the band had (almost) as many guitarists, bassist and drummers come and go as Trump, Berlusconi and Solomon had prostitutes, mistresses and wife-whores. Radu Barb programmed a drum machine. The two Barbs were the mainstays although Corina would eventually leave too.

Initially released in April 1997 by Bestial Records on tape, Romania-based Deimos’ Insane album was re-released for the first time on CD through Loud Rage Music on April 8th 2024. The CD version came with the three tracks of the band’s demo from 1996 as a bonus.
