History
The group came together in 1992. Promo '93 and A Shining Blaze Over Darkland were two of the band demos. Named after a dinosaur, the band released a demo called After The Rain Falls An Empty Sky Remains.

This one-man act relied on keyboards. The band recruited a drummer in 1999 however and eventually added more members. They recorded an album called Mournument in the summer of 2000 for Ars Metalli, which much to the band's frustration saw the light of day only in 2002. In 2002 Supernal Music issued a re-release of Deinonychus' Ark Of Thought album on CD. In the autumn of 2003 the band signed a two-album deal with My Kingdom Music. The group disbanded in 2008, but like every other band returned in 2016. Marco Kehren and drummer Steve Wolz were in the band. Piano boy Ulf Theodor Schwadorf was onboard in 2017.
