History & Biography
Dementia played crazy music termed thrash metal. The group’s first incarnation was called Grand Jury and founded in 1985. The band hailed from the Chicago area and featured bassist Kurt Krause until 1990. Walz was on guitar sometimes. Cursed From The First was a 1989 demo. Shock Treatment was the 1990 demo. The band issued a self-titled 1993 demo. The last demo was 1994’s Of Unsound Mind. The band went away in 1996. Matt Snell (later in Kill Devil Hill) was the bassist at this juncture.
