History & Biography This band was founded in southern France in May of 2014. Since Canada had a "Roman" metal band similarly called Ex Deo and a bunch of Viking metal bands were running round Spain, it made sense that France gets its Roman act.
Ghosts Of The Empire was the December 2015 demo. The debut album was called In Nomine Romae and released by Buil2Kill Records in 2017. This one featured a person playing keyboards in this metal band. The album was mastered by J-F Dagenais (Kataklysm and Ex Deo). The band performed at the Rising Across The Alps tour with ADE in autumn of 2017. Furor Belli, of five years later, had switched to WormHoleDeath.
France-based "Roman metal" band Deos had a 2025 album called Augustus Omnipotens, which was a conceptual journey through the rise of Octavian, later Augustus, the first Emperor of Rome. The album was released through WormHoleDeath.
The band dresses in Roman pteruges and armour.
