History & Biography
Desolate Shrine is a Helsinki-based death metal band formed in 2010. The Finnish act signed with Dark Descent Records for the release of its next album. Desolate Shrine, which released its debut on Hammer Of Hate Records in 2011, will issue its forthcoming sophomore effort, The Sanctum Of Human Darkness, before year's end. The albums follow all-encompassing themes especially facilitated by LL writing and playing all of the music. He did suffer a serious leg injury in 2014 however, which put the band on a tentative schedule. There was a new album in 2022. MT was jumping from act to act. The band was recording a new album in 2025.
