History & Biography Indiana, USA-based Devil To Pay played southern doom and was active between 2002 and 2021. The band appeared at the 2nd Annual Ohio Doomed & Stoned Fest and the Maryland Doom Fest in 2019, but 2020 shows were cancelled. The line-up changed and the band carried on with a new line-up including Marshall Kreeb on bass and Matt Price on drums beginning in 2024.

The devil is not just in the band's name. He is all over the artwork and the imagery as well. More importantly, these guys play loud rock music which, everyone knows, is the handiwork of Lucifer himself. Then there is the long hair on these guys, which makes me think sinful thoughts. Oh yeah!
Anyone into the Sabs, Monster Magnet, Spiritual Beggars and early Soundgarden should have a natural inclination to get into Devil To Pay's doom-laden riff rock. Then again, the music is promising enough to attract fans based on its own merits. It is basic and effective. Fave song: The New Black. - Sheila Wes Det
