History & Biography Devoid was a death metal band from Liverpool whose only claim to fame
is
the list of bands Carlo joined subsequently. The band was formed in
1987
and released a demo called Screams Of Innocents in 1988. A couple of
line-up changes later the band was Loui (vocals), Stuart (drums), Jimmy
(guitar) and Jase on bass guitar. The band was next joined by
fifteen-year old Carlo Regadas who soon became the band's song writer.
Carlos' friend Paul Craig would next replace Jase.
The band recorded a demo called Human Plague in 1989. The demo was
successful enough to get the attention of RHAM/Skysaw Records. The
result was a 1991 EP called Blackened Empire. The band would soon fall
prey to internal dissension and fall apart, although Fellows had
already
taken leave of the act. Fellows was replace by Tony Carbury for a short
while.
Fellows was spotted in Goat Throttler some ten years later.
