History & Biography
This black metal band based out of Grenoble in Southeastern France was founded by Diamargareton as a solo project in February of 1997. The man issued his immediate demo, called Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea, through its own DMG Productions imprint. The band, and Url's act Molochios shared a video release before another demo emerged. The two aforementioned bands also issued a split audio release called Spit Demon. The band's own newer demo was called Vinbär Frost. Krukka was first heard here, albeit as a session drummer, before becoming a full member.

The Satanic Devotion was the group's first full-length. Blasphemy For Satan followed. Agonia and Paragon Records issued a 7" called Charognard in 2003. It contained Carnivore and Darkthrone cover versions, as well as a self-cover version of a song called Everlasting Death. Krukka left in 2006. He would also relocate to Bergen, Norway. It took six years from the previous release for the next release to be issued. Crossroad was so named because it referenced a fable about skilled blues musicians selling their souls in a faustian bargain to gain their musicianship. This album was advertised at least five years before its release. The members had spun up a progressive rock band called Aluk Todolo in 2004. This band's drummer would then join Diamargareton. ...To Death was a 2012 7". DMG Productions signed a band called Sound Of Memories in 2020.

The band has called its music 'vintage black metal.' It also claimed that its monicker came from medieval French medicine. Url lived in Indonesia and shot a documentary on that country's metal scene.
