History & Biography Dimman was founded in Teuva in Southwestern Finland in 2014. Poltetun Veden Pinta (‘Burnt Water Surface’) was the name of a 2015 demo. Inverse Records signed the band and out came an EP called Guide My Fury in 2017. Another EP was called IVII and issued in 2019. This one featured a female singer next to the act’s main one. The singer was ostensibly only to be a guest at first. She left in 2022. Drummer Samppa Raittila also left. The debut full-length had to wait until 2021. It was called Songs And Tales Of Grievance. When guitarist Mikawl left in 2022, Valtteri Halkola also took over that position. Finland-based Dimman released a full-length, entitled Consciousness through Inverse Records on February 28, 2025. There was a video for the song The First Daylight.
