History & Biography Formed back in 2001 and basing itself in Athens, Greece this one-man black metal prophecy utilized the services of session musicians. The 2003 demo, Kruzifixxion Of Human Disgust, was issued a year later with two bonus songs. Blackmetal.com issued one album before the man/band jumped to America’s Moribund Cult label. A split album with Ganzmord as issued prior to the label change however. Death Set The Beginning Of My Journey was the first part of an album trilogy launched by Wrath.
Reviews DODSFERD - DEATH SET THE BEGINNING OF MY JOURNEY - MORIBUND 
Taking traditional black metal and smashing it head-first with the speed-first philosophy of Motörhead, Greece’s Dodsferd has created a black metal record that will appeal to hardened purists, but also those in search of a record with infectious (?!) energy and never-say-die force. This Darkthrone-meets-Lemmy’s-riffs juxtaposition is a hellacious listen, one that has the listener pondering why this kind of punk-inflected black metal hasn’t spawned more acts playing this vigorous sound. Mention also has to be made of the unintentionally hilarious song titles: You Were Talking About A Kingdom; What The Fuck Is That!!! (impressively both grammatically correct and incorrect at the same time), The Day You Will All Rot, I Will Bury Forever My Hate! and the best one, Suicide Was Created By Your Incompetence. That chuckle aside, it’s got to be said that this is one impressive record, alternately motivating you to headbang and pump your fist (or both at the same time). - James Tape
