History & Biography
Don Dokken opted for a solo act after leaving Dokken in the late '80s and even losing the right to the name Dokken. The singer began working on a new album in 2006 (tentatively entitled Solitary) and was confirmed as the support band for Queensrÿche on its U.S. tour for January of 2008. In 2014, Don Dokken released the out-of-print solo album Solitary in digital format through Amazon. The album was initially sold at concerts including acoustic dates as opener for Queensrÿche. Don Dokken performed an acoustic show at a special A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors 30th anniversary show on June 3rd 2017 at Underground Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Solitary solo album was reissued through Deadline Music on 31.01.2020. This version featured three bonus tracks. The man underwent neck and spine surgery because his hands were atrophying.
