History & Biography
The band was founded as a side-project of Bestial Raids and Cultes Des Ghoules members in 2007. Despite the name, the band did not play doom metal. Primeval Sorcery was the 2008 demo. Abhorrent Dreams Of The End was the name for the 2010 demo. Singer Pestiferous Preacher (Marek Górecki of Cultes Des Ghoules) left. A 2012 single was called Sevenfold Pestilence. The doom-sounding debut album arrived in 2014. The group was booked for the Nuclear War Now Fest in Germany in 2016. Doombringer was billed at the into The Abyss Festival in 2019.The Grand Sabbath was issued on Halloween.

The band switched to Nuclear War Now and issued Walpurgis Fires. The main man's other band Bestial Raids was on the same label. Poland-based black/death metal band Doombringer had a new record, entitled Ad Compita!, through Nuclear War Now! Productions on August 30th, 2026. Old Coffin Spirit had just dropped the guitar and bass and would focus on the microphone.

Doombringer was also a 2008 Nasum album.
