History & Biography
The band from Argentina appeared on the scene with a monicker referencing the Bronze Age Sardinian Nuragic civilization. The sole member was born in Sardinia, Italy. The solo act was set up in May of 2013 following the dissolution of Drowned In November. Jhanas-Nur was the 2013 demo with sequentially titled songs. Umbras E Forestas was the 2014 demo. Like its predecessor, and every other demo out there, a few quasi-labels quickly sprouted and repressed the demo on physical formats because the underground was not to be.

The 2015 Avantgarde debut, which featured Dany Tee (in Element, Endless, etc.) on vocals, was followed by a split with Selvans in 2016. Avantgarde Music was issuing Downfall Of Nur’s And The Firmament Will Burn To Quench The Pain Of This Earth on 22.05.2026.

Metal fans should approach the act with extreme caution because it is full of non-metal instrumentation and New Age passages.
