History & Biography
One of the earlier bands from behind the Iron Curtain to obtain a Western contract, Dragon should be better known for its members' humorous pseudonyms. The band was formed in 1984 and disbanded in 2000. The band was heard on several compilations, like Metal Invasion and Metalmania '87, before its debut album. The album came in English and Polish versions. The band had appeared at the Metalmania festival in 1986 and Metalmania ’88 with Kreator and Rage. At this time, the band lost bassist Nowak and singer/drummer Marek Wojcieski who moved to Germany. The latter man died in 2013.

The traditional reformation occurred in 2016. Returning were singer Adrian Frelich, guitarist Jarek Gronowski and drummer Krystian "Bomba" Bytom. Grzegorz Mroczek was back briefly in 2016 only. The drummer lasted three years. The band released an album called Arcydzieło Zagłady in 2021. Unde Malum followed two years later. Janek Traciński took over the drums in 2024. There was a live album in 2025. The group was booked for Keep It True 2026. Former bassist Grzegorz Mroczek died in. He was part of the band in years between 1989 and 1994 and had also returned for a short time in 2016.
