History & Biography
Mana Prime became Drifter in 1983. The band then lasted until 1991. Conformity is the rule of the land of metal and so, like every other band, Drifter reappeared in 2005. Gabor Szabo was on bass. Bruno Naef was on drums. The group had a reunion show in Switzerland on the 25th of March 2006. More cliches followed when nothing happened and the band split up again when Tommy Lion quit in 2011. The band had played at Switzerland's Metal Fest Uri and True As Steel in 2009. This Swiss thrash unit had a well known demo called Tales Of Dragonia in 1986. Beyond The Burning Circles was the demo in 1987. Demo 2010 was the last recording.

Upon formation Celtic Frost's Tom Warrior was handling the band's promotion. He and Celtic Frost bassist Martin Ain had designed the Drifter logo.
