History & Biography
Driver was a Los Angeles group of veterans that lasted a year or so before disbanding. The band had evolved from another white metal Xian act called M.A.R.S. The group issued a self-titled EP in 1990 after coming back through Rock’s efforts, but it was only after reformation in 2007 that an album was issued. The album was issued in 2008. A reformed Driver, featuring singer Rob Rock and guitarist Roy Z, was to issue an album in early 2012. Driver – featuring singer Rob Rock and guitarist/producer Roy Z –completed work on a new album, called Countdown, to be released in mid-2012 through Metal Heaven in Europe and King Records in Japan. Singer Mark Boals guests.
