History & Biography
The Florida, USA-based Druid Lord was founded in 2010. Pete Slate approached Stephen Spillers and they reached out to Tony Blakk. The band’s doom/death output manifested itself in 2010’s Hymns For The Wicked. It was recorded at Tony Blakk’s studio Blakk Magic Studio. Several split releases followed. A 2012 single was called Druid Death Cult. A self-cover version of Baron Blood became another 7”. A mini-tour was dubbed Fall Doom Assault for the band’s local area.

The band’s next release was only in 2018. It was recorded in 2016 and mixed in 2017. Elden Santos was on drums here. The act appeared at Metal Threat Festival in Chicago. A further full-length was recorded in 2021 and made available in 2022. Chris Wicklein was the second guitarist. A couple of members became live Massacre members, yet the band had a USA East Coast Tour with Massacre and a European tour with Anatomia. Druid Lord and Anatomia had released a split. The act was booked for Disemboweled God Fest in 2024. USA-based death doom metal band Druid Lord and Sweden-based Rotpit had a split album, Doomed To Rot, through Behind The Mountain in 2025.
