History & Biography
DVC, or Darth Vader's Church, was an odd Florida death metal band. DVC was founded in 1988 and released the Constrictus Mortum demo in 1989. Members had come from the acts Requiem and Blood Glutton. The band sounded like no other Florida band and came over as a tad noisier and more underground. The band toured Europe with Paradise Lost, Unleashed and Protector during April of 1992 and also become the winner of Tampa Bay Metal Awards even though the group's base was Tallahassee, Florida.

The intro to the band's debut is fantastic.
