History & Biography
The band was active between 1998 and 2008 before disappearing until 2010. The band was founded by guitarist Edoardo Demuro and drummer Ivan Longo. A self-titled demo appeared in 2002. Ghost At The Spine came in 2004. The 2013 full-length demo was Waiting For Punishment. Italy-based death metal band Dying Awkward Angel released a new album called Absence Of Light through Rockshots in May. Singer Joshua Baecke and guitarist Ernesto Maldestro left. The new singer was Michele Spallieri as of 2018. Drummer Luca also joined Opera IX in 2021.

Rockshots uploaded a song called Music Kills in 2025 in anticipation of the release of a new album. There was another advance song called 9.99, from The Missing Frame album out on August 22nd, 2025. The band appeared at Rock Inn Somma, where it presented its new album live on its release day.
