History & Biography
There were only about a dozen bands called Dysentery on the scene and so the monicker was obviously up for grabs. Formed by members from hardcore acts Unholy Blessings and Led Astray, and lead by singer Will, the slamming act was official as of 2002 and the release of the Slaughtered Remnants demo. Excruciatingly Euphoric Torment was a split release for the band and Gutrot. This replaced a split with Corpse Of Christ. Amputated Vein Records of Japan became responsible for the group's debut album. The group moved to Comatose for the sophomore full-length. Singer Will Caruso departed in 2014.

The USA-based Dysentery released an album called Dejection Chrysalis through Comatose Music on November 7th 2025. There was an album release show with Windchimes, Groaning Retch, Invoke Thy Wrath, Altar and Blood Starved Beast. Dysentery had a video for the song Enslavement For The Obedient, Agony For The Wayward as well.

The band undergoes regular line-up changes and utilises several concert musicians.
