History & Biography
Eciton is a Copenhagen-based death metal band that was formed in 2000 and bore the Indespair monicker. The band issued a 2004 demo, called Oppressed By Contempt, using the old name. A year later, the group re-recorded and re-designed the material. Søren Maiboe died following the release. Lars Poulsen subsequently departed.

Eciton’s A Scent Of Veracity was released in Denmark on April 26th 2010 and in the rest of Europe on July 5th 2010. This album was recorded in 2008. The Denmark-based death metal combo had a video for the song Estimated Effort in 2020, which is taken from the album Suspension Of Disbelief. It was released through Wormholedeath/The Orchard on 03.06.2020. The band issued an album in 2022 and disbanded in 2023.
