History & Biography The grunge/hard rock act was founded at the beginning of 2001. The band issued a couple of albums and released the 2011 demo, Touching The Void. The 2014 demo was Leaving For Freedom. Marko Tervonen from The Crown produced it. The act nearly came to an end in 2015 when bass player and founding member Lyris Karlsson decided to leave the band to pursue other projects. Instead of calling it quits remaining members Peter Gottlieb (vocals), Tommy Scalisi (guitar) and Magnus Olsson (drums) started writing material for a new album. Bassist Mikael Tuved joined the band in summer of 2018. Mikael played alongside Tommy and Magnus in Rat Salad, which was a grunge and hard rock band back in the ‘90s. Electric Earth announced the release of its 2018 studio album Electric Earth through the TYSS Music imprint for November. The demo featured guest appearances by Jörgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule), Robert Hakemo (Crawl Back to Zero, M.A.N. and Engel), Ulf Widlund (the Leather Nun, Mick Ronson, Kim Fowley and Ulf Lundell), Erik Peterson (Impious) and more.
Gooseflesh was called Earth at one point.
