History & Biography It all started in the Southern France town of Grenoble for the band in the year of not their lord 1993. First came 1995’s Water’s Peacemaker demo, followed by Immortal Pleasure in 1997 and 1999’s Build The Nation. A French tour with Opeth ensued in 2003. The band signed to Adipocere Records and issued two albums there before jumping ship to Thundering. 2009 brought a demo called The Grace Decapitated. The spelling on the front cover called it The Grace Decapited. Frédéric Caillat-Miousse became the bassist in 2019. The next demo only appeared in 2022. The two tracks were called Sadistikal Mentaculus. The band was opening for Dirty Shirt locally in 2025.
Reviews ELLIPSIS - IMPERIAL TZADIK - THUNDERING
Innovative extreme music has a new short form: Ellipsis. This is a French unknown and underground entity, but the band injects such ferocious appetite for diverse extremeness as well as distinct melodies that convince from the opening track Perfect Rage to the end, namely Kingdom Of Hate And Green, that this album will bow before no one. Starting from a base of SYL and Nevermore with the requisite keyboard harmonies and vocals, the band takes the next step and goes toward a maelstrom of different texts and subtexts that evoke motion, metal, rock, industrial and ambience, but always at nigh perfect niveaus. The progressive riffs and songs will depress, elate and certainly probe the senses. From morbid curiosity to homoerotic (Liquid Machine X) lyrics this band is in constant motion fronted by a man who hits some remarkable notes. The strapping young lad in Canada would be proud. - Anna Tergel
