History & Biography
E-L-R was born through the effort of I.R. and S.M. in Bern, Switzerland in 2016. The band adopted the trendy "post metal" sound. In Splendour & Sedation was the 2018 demo. Mænad was the debut album. Amenra, Ylva and E-L-R toured Europe in 2019. Then there was touring with Wolvennest in 2023. The band toured with Harakiri For The Sky and Dödsrit in 2025. To promote its Atropa album, Switzerland-based E-L-R had a European tour with Abraham and Iskandr on select dates.

The band has stated that its monicker doesn't stand for anything.
